Whats Working:
The Delayed Harvest sections on the Watauga River have again been stocked in October and will be restocked in November. This is a great opportunity for anyone to catch nice fish. Dry and Dropper rigs work well for these fish. You might try a size 12 or 14 stimulator followed by a size 16 copper john. Try to keep the line between the flies about 2x the depth of the water you are fishing.

Tips, Stories, Info:
The trout have really become active the last few weeks with the cooler days and nights. When the water temperature starts dropping the Brown and Brook trout start their spawning runs and this is a GREAT time to catch larger fish. Good luck and Great Fishing!!!
